although established well before 2019, we got the keys to Duke's Antiques in january of 2019 and opened our doors two months later in march of 2019. you must know, We've sold all sorts of this and thats. some of these, some of those, a little bit of this and a little bit of THAT. its how we roll... the most unique, twisted, eclectic,
little antique shop in texas!
"poppa" aka Harold Duke, was essentially the start of duke's in 1975, when he found his love for junk and antiques. Logan Duke was his poppa's shadow growing up, following him around the cleburne flea market collecting rent, making uturns for garage sales and not passing up an antique mall IN JOHNSON county. the year we opened the shop we MOVED POPPA out of the red horse antique mall in CLEBURNE tx, where he had been for over 30 years. LET'S just say we no longer had a need for any inventory the first couple of months.
poppa was the main man of duke's antiques. Logan being his co-pilot and poppa being one of logan's biggest influencers in life, no wonder he took up right after him doing what he truly loves!
rejoicefully, poppa did his happy dance on 12/31/22, when he entered into the gates of heaven. it's true. we have most definitely taken a step back since his passing, but we are strikingly ready to come back and better than ever. reopening soon! Summer 2023.
